Cafe Coco @ Gardens by the Bay – Cold Brew Coffee with Islandwide Delivery; Pink Salt Chocolate and Midnight Mocha Added

One of the advantages of islandwide delivery is getting to sample all kinds of restaurants and cafes that I would normally be too lazy to make the trip for.

Last month, Cafe Coco pulled off a pretty commendable feat by pledging 100% of their proceeds for the latter part of May to the Singapore Red Cross, in spite of the dire situation faced by most, if not all F&B businesses. Located within the Supertree Food Hall at Gardens by the Bay, Cafe Coco is now looking to pull through the rest of Phase 1 by churning out cold brews for coffee aficionados across the country.

While individual bottles range from about $7 – $7.50, you can order a COCObox ($20 – $28) of three different brews for a slight discount. The COCObox #2 contains two regular cold brews and one alcoholic concoction for your night late #stayhome tipples.

The Creamy White Latte ($7) lives up to its name with just the right balance of milkiness and sweetness. I personally enjoy my coffee on the milky side, so this latte hit all the right notes for me. The texture of the coffee is also satisfyingly silky and smooth. Overall, a pretty good drink to sip the afternoon heat away.

Coffee purists may delight in the Smooth Black Americano ($7), which packs a much needed caffeine punch for slow-moving days. I’m not big on black coffee myself, but I certainly appreciated how smooth tasting Cafe Coco’s brew was.

I expected the Popcorn Quarantini ($15) to have some sort of caramel after taste; turns out it’s more of an alcoholic tasting version of the Creamy White latte.

While it may be awhile before we can step into our favourite cafes, services like Cafe Coco’s certainly bring us a step closer to enjoying creature comforts like cold brews to get through these trying times. I’m definitely curious to try out their new flavours!
