Telok Ayer, with its smattering of heritage sites and converted shophouses, presents itself as a neighbourhood of hidden gems – quiet and unassuming, yet filled with pleasant surprises for those who venture there.
Last weekend, as part of my review for Sugar, I embarked on my own journey into this quaint part of town – right into the fabled grounds of Sarnies. A brother and sister venture from Down Under, the cafe prides itself on its healthy, wholesome offerings alongside a blend of classic coffees and off-the-menu concoctions, so my expectations were high. π
