Most tourists beeline for King Power Mahanakhon to enjoy an uninterrupted view of Bangkok’s skyline. But did you know there’s a place nearby where you can do just that for a fraction of the ticket price?
% ARABICA at Empire Tower is one of over 8 branches of the famed Japanese coffee chains in Bangkok. At 55 storeys, it is the world’s highest one, offering you not just a view of the cityscape, but also a perfect escape from the bustling from the city centre.

Getting there is an experience in itself (I shan’t elaborate too much to avoid spoilers). The cafe is decked in the brand’s signature all-white tone, with its entire seating area against the windows. Be prepared to wait if you’re here for a seat, especially around sunset.
Take your pick from the coffee and tea selection, which includes a special Maple Latte (150 baht, 180 baht for Iced). You can also check out the Matcha Soft Serve, which is a welcome reprieve for Bangkok’s heat.

Crowds aside, it’s nice to dip from Bangkok’s busy streets to relax for a moment or two at %ARABICA’s Empire Tower branch.
