The Dawson-Queenstown neighbourhood just got a major upgrade in the form of Margaret Market, a refurbished, air-conditioned space fitted with seven local eateries and cafes. One of these is Urban Folks

NOWAFTER Cafe @ Design Orchard, Orchard Road – Another Minimalist, Korean-Inspired Cafe Opens in Orchard Road

Until today, I still can’t quite wrap my head around what makes a cafe Korean-inspired. Is it the distinctly minimalist interior or a menu that bears a striking resemblance to one of the many scattered across Seoul?

[MOVED] 46 Mittsu @ Everton Park, Outram Park – HDB Joint Serving Thicc Sandos and Good Vibes

Update 19 Jan 2025: 46 Mittsu has moved to North Canal Road and re-branded to Go Rogue

I have a love-hate relationship with sandos. On one hand, they’re crazy delicious and stuffed to the brim with flavourful ingredients. On the other hand, I’ve never had a sando eating experience that did not end in a handful of ingredients spilling from two slices of bread gallantly holding it all together.

And yet, like after every messy break in between a tumultuous, yet addictive relationship, I find myself going back for more. Today’s trip against better judgement is to 46 Mittsu, a sando kiosk tucked away in Everton Park
