Kremi is a new food stall in Somerset that serves Japanese crepes and specialty matcha drinks. One of the first tenants at the new *SCAPE Building, it is run by a group of Japanese foodies who wanted to re-create their favourite crepes in Harajuku.

Each crepe is made to order with wholesome ingredients. If you’re a strawberry lover, you’ll find yourself at home with the variety of strawberry crepes available. Chocolate and banana also feature heavily in the dessert menu.
And yes, they also sell matcha crepes made with ceremonial-grade matcha.
I enjoyed the Mochi Strawberry ($11.90), which was assembled with mochi, fresh-cut strawberry, crunch, compote, and whipped cream. A sweet treat that is not overly indulgent.

What I like about Kremi is that it not only serves the classic sweet flavours, but also savoury crepes. The Mt Buldak ($11.90) is an eye-catching crepe that has spicy buldak noodles with sausages, vegetables, and omelette, almost like a light meal.

Kudos to Kremi’s founders for taking a leap of faith and setting up shop in a competitive food scene. Rooting for their crepes to be the next big trend in Singapore!
