How would you like $25,000 and a chance to start your own restaurant? Deliveroo is giving five aspiring entrepreneurs – or should I say, foodiepreneurs – the chance to get their dream business going at the Deliveroo Food Market at Mediapolis, all part of a drive to nurture the next generation of game-changers in the food industry.

From an initial online proposal, to a two-hour pop up kitchen at the Incubaker, these five talented candidates will be battling it out on Deliveroo Pitch Day on 16 October!

1. my Life Giving Food

My Life Giving Food is one story that inspires, as its founder, Candice Chiew is a cancer survivor who advocates good nutritious food. Her gluten free wrap, which debuted at the Deliveroo Pop-up Kitchen, features fresh vegetables and a healthy portion of tempeh, a traditional fermented soybean with Indonesian origins.

Healthy Fares by fitness enthusiast, Siva Thangaveloo will definitely be a crowd favourite. The mini brown rice bowl with vegetables and chicken meat balls was delicious, and surprisingly filling for its size!
