I first chanced upon Sarah’s Loft’s pretty cakes on Instagram and since then, I’ve been hooked on her visually arresting creations. Peruse any list on Singapore’s top cake shops and bakers, and you’ll be hard pressed not to find this household name.

While Sarah’s Loft does not have an official retail store (Shop Wonderland having sadly closed a couple of years ago), you can order a variety of set boxes, cakes, and dessert tables for your next house party or afternoon tea!

The Cupcake Box ($27) is a treasure box of six original flavours whipped up for your gastronomical pleasure. Expect to find mouthwatering creations that range from classic Earl Grey Lavender, to zesty Lemon Lemon and rich Chocolate Ganache.

The Chocolate Cookie Toffee is a classic flavour that should please any palate. The rich toffee sauce blends perfectly with the cream, adding a slightly salty contrast to the chocolate base.

Fragrant scents beckon to you from the Rose Lychee, whose juicy, tropical components pair well with the floral notes of the rose flavouring. Love the subtle aftertaste of rose which lingers after each bite.

Chocolate lovers will flock to the Chocolate Ganache, an unapologetically rich amalgamation of dark chocolate icing over a chocolate base. The subtle gold brush on the ganache spells L-U-X-U-R-I-O-U-S.

Comforting flavours abound in the Carrot Walnut, which is topped with cinnamon cream cheese.

Otherwise, perk yourself up with the zesty Lemon Lemon, whose lemon buttercream is topped with the classic accompaniment to lemon curd, a sweet meringue!

Finally, the Earl Grey Lavender pairs a classic Earl Grey lemon cake with the herbal notes of lavender butter cream.
