Update June 2020: Table Manners has closed.
While most of balk at the idea of working at a far-flung industrial area, Changi City Point is home to a number of noteworthy gems. Table Manners styles itself as a cozy place for afterwork get-togethers and lunchtime indulgences, with a simple, yet enticing menu of European comfort foods and bar bites.
For starters, the Cheesy Bacon Fries ($16) is a carb-heavy side dish loaded with nacho cheese and fried bacon bits. The perfect snack to pair with a cold one.

The Cauliflower Wings with Thai Mango Sauce ($14) may look plain, but its robust flavours will catch you by surprise. The battered cauliflower wings stay juicy despite being deep-fried, so go for this one if you’re looking for a less guilt-inducing snack.

Laksa Pasta ($23) may be a common fixture in fusion cuisine, but Table Manners’ rendition is da bomb. Al dente pasta cooked in homemade laksa sauce comes together with succulent prawns to create a feisty dish, whose spiciness is contrasted by fresh Japanese cucumber. I especially enjoyed the texture of the pasta.
Laksa Pasta ($23)Take a flavour trip to Mexico with Table Manners’ Tacos ($12 – $14), served with six-inch tortilla, jalapeño, Japanese cucumber, cherry tomato, and sriracha aioli. Diners can choose from prawn, chicken, beef, and vegetarian fillings. The Tacos pack quit the spicy punch – much stronger than the Laksa Pasta!

The Royal TM Burger ($26) lives up to its name, by serving up a royal stack of beef patty, pork bacon, and sunny side up between two brioche buns.

The Garlic Miso Salmon ($24) appeals to refined palates, with a generously portioned salmon fillet laid atop a bed of buttered mashed potatoes and mushrooms. The house garlic miso mayo adds an umami touch to the salmon, which could be a touch more moist.

If you’re feeling indulgent, the Coconut Short Braised Rib ($28) is a fitting feast for the senses. The tender Australian beef short rib falls off the bone easily and melts in your mouth, with a slightly sweet aftertaste of coconut.
