“Plant dreams, pull weeds, and grow a happy life.”
BOTANY is a gorgeous cafe situated amongst other F&B outposts at Robertson Blue on Robertson Quay. Its mix of eclectic Western and Asian-influenced dishes are aesthetically pleasing and flavourful, making it a must-visit spot for an all-rounded cafe experience.
With spacious indoor and outdoor seating, diners can choose to dine amidst air-conditioned comfort complete with marble patterned tabletops, or out in the open with a pleasing view of passerby on a weekend. BOTANY is also usually full during lunchtime on Saturdays and Sundays, so it’s best to reserve a table in advance to avoid disappointment.
One of their most aesthetically pleasing brunch items is the Smashed Avocado Toast ($18++), which boasts generous helpings of smashed avocado flavoured with a citrusy touch. The poached egg wobbles ever so enticingly before you run your knife through it to get that sought after #yolkporn. Nested among fresh greens, tomatoes, sliced beetroot, and pomegranate seeds, it is indeed #brunchgoals.
Taste-wise, it’s not too bad, and the dash of lemon helped bring out the rich layers of smashed avocado better. The sourdough toast is pretty solid as well.

Add a dash of colour to your morning cuppa with some Rainbow Chai Latte ($7++). The spicy notes are enough to perk you up, if the arresting splashes of colour don’t get to you first!
