With Chinese New Year just around the corner, traditional dishes like yusheng are sure to abound. For those who crave a change, or simply have a sweet tooth, Nectar, a yoghurt dessert bar by the team who brought you Milk & Honey, have whipped up the perfect dessert for the occasion – the 旺旺 “Yo-sheng”($38.80)!

A trio of Belgian waffles and yoghurt, complete with six toppings and two sauces of your choice, this decadent behemoth is ideal for four to six pax. Best of all, you also get a sure-win red packet with coupons for you to enjoy even more of Nectar’s creations!

The arrangement itself was exquisite; we couldn’t bear to toss it for fear of ruining the plating, and I doubt you should toss yoghurt anyway! Though I would like to see someone try just for laughs. 😛

Speaking of new flavours, Nectar has also launched the Super Rich Double Chocolate Froyo. While a couple of us had initial reservations about the mixture of sour and chocolate notes, I was pretty surprised by how well the two flavours complimented each other.
