Acai Brothers @ Anchorpoint Shopping Centre, Alexandra – Australian Acai Cafe in Singapore

Singapore’s love for açaí shows no signs of slowing down, as yet another name sets up shop. This time, it’s Acai Brothers, an Australia-based. Established in 2014, this superfood brand has 20 chains across Down Under, with Singapore marking its first Southeast Asian expansion.

Its Anchorpoint Shopping Centre outlet is one of two outlets opened in Singapore, with the other situated in Kovan. The vibrant posters of fruits adorning its grey walls are reminiscent of Poke Theory when it first opened. Seems like there is a certain aesthetic that runs across most health food brands.

Service is warm and friendly, with bowls sold at three price points – Regular ($11), Large ($15.50), and Sharing ($25). Customers can either build their own bowls from scratch or choose from pre-selected flavours ranging from indulgent chocolate and salted caramel to fruity.

Ain’t Nothin Butter features peanut butter and cacao nibbles drizzled over your choice of three fruits. There is also a heaping of coconut yoghurt which adds to the heartiness of the bowl. As for the açaí base, it’s made with non-GMO berries and tastes really refreshing.
