I’ll admit that staying home 24/7 this circuit breaker season in Singapore has got me feeling a tad sluggigh, a little down. But that doesn’t mean we can’t continue to eat healthy and treat our bodies well!

I got to know about Going Om, a hipster salad bar meets yoga studio during one of my daily “Where shall I order from today?” monologues with the office on Google Hangouts. Turns out this neat little joint has been operating out of their eclectically-themed premises in Haji Lane for awhile now, with regulars returning for their gigantic salads and desi fries.

With most salad-hopping ventures turning up disappointing, less-than-filling shrubs, I was pleasantly to find Going Om’s salads a gargantuan serving of fresh greens and proteins.

The Grilled Chicken Salad ($14) is priced reasonably, and can easily serve two with its mouthwatering, succulent chicken that yields bold flavours. The cucumbers are refreshingly juicy, and the trio of dipping sauces take this appetising combination to the next level. Even the most ravenous carnivores will be happily stuffed after going through a box of Going Om’s wholesome greens and meats.

Seafood options, including Grilled Salmon and Grilled Tiger Prawn (both $16), are also available.

The Desi Fries ($8) are a perfect accompaniment to Going Om’s refreshing bowl of health. Like their salads, expect a jaw-dropping serving of perfectly fried potato strips generously spiced and flavoured. What’s extra large, anyway?

With circuit breaker measures limiting islandwide mobility through public transport, Going Om has stepped up with their in-house, islandwide delivery system that brings customers freshly made food at their chosen timing.

Delivery rates vary depending on your location and distance from Going Om:

• $5 for orders below $25 to addresses 0km to 5km
• $5 for orders below $50 to addresses 5km to 10km
• $10 for orders below $80 to addresses 10km – 15km

Bibulous diners will also be glad to know that Soju Grape is going for $15, instead of the usual $18 for the time being! For new customers, Going Om is also shaving 30% off your first order!
