TEN Sushi’s offerings are as delectable as they were at my first visit some two years ago. The Sakoshi Oysters ($34++ for 6 pieces, $60++ for 12 pieces) are plump, briny, and fresh, and will no doubt tantalise your tastebuds if you are looking for something to indulge in with your sake. Top up for ikura and uni toppings to add some umami richness to your oysters.

Cure Monday Blues with another bang-for-your-buck deal with the Omakase Sushi. Typically sold as a 12-sushi set, diners can enjoy 6 pieces for $29++ every Monday in the month of November.

New highlights from TEN Sushi’s menu include the “RAINBOW” 6 Kinds of Seafood Rolls ($28++). I would liken this dish to something like a Kinder surprise, as you can never quite tell which seafood is hidden under all those toppings till you bite into it! The vibrant array of colours from the uniikura, salmon, tuna, and squid sashimi do add a rainbow-like effect to the dish.

TEN Sushi has also branched out into the world of ramen, with a No MSG Special Ramen ($12.80++, top up $2 – 7 for egg and pork char siu). Served with a fish and pork broth, the noodles are perfectly al dente, and the pork char siu delightfully fatty and rich. The powder is a tad overwhelming though, with an almost fishy aftertaste that overpowered the broth’s natural richness. So I would recommend to only add a pinch of the powder and go from there.
